From the Washington-Baltimore area follow Rt. 5 South into St. Mary's County. Rt. 5 become Rt. 235 just south of Mechanicsville. Stay on Rt 235 South past Patuxent River Naval Air Station. St. Michael's is on the left side about 11 miles south of the base at the intersection with Portney's Overlook Dr.
